Zumobi, a spinoff from Microsoft, recently announced the launch of its widget user interface for BlackBerry cell phones. Zumobi allows users to select up to 16 different widgets, which are displayed in quadrants, allowing users to quickly zoom in on the information they need.
Zumobi is ad-supported, and displays a relevant advertisement across the bottom of the screen. Recently, several new widgets were added to the library, including ones from Twitter, Major League Baseball, Facebook, and even the ‘BlackBerry Cool’ blog.
Users can direct their cell phone’s web browser to Get.Zumobi.com to register and download the application.
