This week at CTIA in San Francisco, AOL launched a new suite of mobile web services designed to help mobile consumers enrich and share their lives via the mobile web. AOL.com WAP Portal, AOL MyMobile Software, Mobile AIM Services, and Winamp Remote are all designed to be used by any WAP browser, which means most phones on the market currently are able to take advantage of these new services.

The AOL.com WAP Portal intelligently detects the device that is accessing it to provide the most robust experience possible. Consumers can point their mobile phone’s web browser to http://aol.com to take advantage of the numerous features available. Features include AOL Mobile Search, designed to get the information with as few clicks as possible, as well as access to AOL Mail and myAOL.
