Interesting question isn’t it? PDAs are supposed to make your life easier but just like it’s bigger siblings such as personal computers, PDAs can bring fun as well as nightmare to users.
In general PDAs are a very stable and reliable gadgets, which I think is one of the reasons more and more people are adopting PDAs. The challenge faced by PDAs manufacturers is how to pack in more punches within the increasingly smaller space of PDAs, be it the physical size and screen of the PDA as well as its memory. And with the advancing technology in software applications technology designed for PDAs, problems are bound to happen.
The following are common issues faced by PDA users, regardless of Palm OS-based or Pocket PC-based devices:
- PDAs freezes
- Scrtatches and crack
- HotSync errors
- Data goes AWOL
- PDA viruses.. yes PDAs also have viruses ![]()
- Inactive ActiveSync
- Missed the bus
- Attack of the clones
- Avoid conflict
Read more about these problems at Smart Computing. I hope you find something useful there.
Happy New Year!!
