INTERKEY for Windows Mobile Pocket PC

Windows Mobile Pocket PC keyboardLooking for handy onscreen keyboard in your own language? Need for effective text input tool and want to type using the finger as well as the stylus? In this case, InterKey for Windows Mobile will be the best solution.

InterKey software provides multilingual onscreen keyboards for accurate text input. InterKey expands the capability of using standard Windows Mobile keyboard by additional special features. With new version of InterKey you can use up to 60 national layouts and enter words just by hand thanks to large finger friendly keys.

InterKey is available in two versions for your choice: InterKey Standard and InterKey Professional. As optional feature, InterKey Professional provides word autocomplete function, which completes words as you type. Using this function greatly reduces the number of key presses and makes text input faster and precisely.

SoftMaker Office 2008 for Pocket PCs

In an ideal world, you could create a file in Microsoft Office on your desktop computer, put it on your Pocket PC, edit and format it on the road, and then send it back to the office, with content and all formatting still intact.

Unfortunately, it does not work that way. Microsoft’s Office Mobile is, after all these years, still not able to reliably open Microsoft Office files without massive data loss – all functions and formatting that it does not know, are silently stripped and thrown away. After Office Mobile touched them, many files share only a distant resemblance with their older versions.

New BlackBerry 88XX OtterBox available

OtterBox, ever the heavy-duty case providers, have just announced their OtterBox 1933 which fits the BlackBerry 8800, BlackBerry 8820 and BlackBerry 8830. As an 8800 user, this case looks like something I wouldn’t mind using on a daily basis. Most of the OtterBox products for BlackBerry turn your handheld into a little microcomputing tank, which for novelty’s sake is awesome, but impractical for nonindustrial use. We’ve got a review cooking for their 1930 model (fitting the BlackBerry 8700), and hope to get our hands on the 1933 real soon. Keep an eye out for this in the $49.99 range in both classic black and yellow.
