Verizon today made Motorola’s Q9m smartphone available to online buyers. Although the Q9m is similar the the HSDPA Q9h, this EV-DO version features slightly different styling and downgrades some features. It shares the Q9h’s keyboard, screen, Windows Mobile 6 standard (Smartphone) and stereo Bluetooth but uses Mini SD instead of MicroSD and downgrades the camera to 1.3 Megapixels. It also features a new multimedia home screen.

Motorolla has pre-announced two Q Series smartphones, the Motorola Q EDGE and the Motorola Q2. Although not much were revealed, there are some details about the two models announced:
Motorola Q EDGE
The only version of the original Q runs on CDMA networks. The Motorola Q EDGE will be a GSM device with, obviously, support for the 2.5G networking standard EDGE.Based on the picture of the device Motorola has released, it appears that this upcoming model will be essentially physically identical to its predecessor.
Motorola Q2
The Q2 is expected to be a much more significantly changed from the current one.
Motorola has said there will be be both GSM and CDMA versions of this smartphone, and these will support HSDPA or EV-DO, respectively.
