T-Mobile’s release of the BlackBerry 8320, and we’re still waiting for an official announcement. Despite that, a few folks have said that they’ve been able to find the gold and titanium-clad BlackBerrys in their local T-Mobile outlet already. Boy Genius already has his hands on one (go figure), and has done a side-by-side browser battle with the BlackBerry 8300 to test out EDGE versus Wi-Fi speeds. The results are interesting, to say the least. He makes a solid case that Wi-Fi for data transfer isn’t that big of a deal, so unless you have UMA support, the BlackBerry 8320 won’t rock your socks.

Gresso will be releasing by the end of 2007 two phones powered by windows Mobile. Since they are made of Gold and African Blackwood they are not for average user… and since website of Gresso is being offered both in English and Russian, clearly only very rich people will be able to afford them…

Concept military tech is usually pretty out there, but soldiers need battlefield data any way they can get it — which is why InHand Electronics’ new Soldier Flex PDA seems so much more practical than all those HUD-driven cyberhelmets we’ve seen. Utilizing a flexible e-ink display and some proprietary battery management software, the SFPDA weighs less than one pound but runs for 6 hours off a single charge, while still providing Ethernet, Bluetooth, and USB connectivity. No word on pricing or availability, but when your target market is the Pentagon, it probably doesn’t really matter.

Plus, as all other Nokia NSeries devices, the N81 will run S60 on top of Symbian OS.Nokia expects the N81 and N81 8GB to ship during Q4 this year.
